Joint Religious Legislative Coalition Day on the Hill

The Day on the Hill begins at River Centre and includes greetings from Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton. The keynote speech will be given by Father David McCauley, Minnesota Catholic Conference.

Following the briefings constituents will meet by Legislative District to plan for visits with their legislators in the afternoon.
The formal program in the Capitol Rotunda begins at 11:45 with the presentation of awards followed by remarks by Special Commissioner, Linda Jesson, Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Catholic Schools Week: Hill Murray School

February 4, 2011

Hill Murray School invited Jennifer Tacheny, Co-Director, Celeste's Dream to present on Environmental Justice. She focused on environment, economics and health of the food production system.

Also invited were Joanne Tromiczak-Neid, Justice Coordinator and Ginger K. Hedstrom, Justice Associate who wove into their presentation the theme of Hill Murry Catholic Schools Week: Making Our Mark; We are one people; We have tradition; We lead by example; We seek balance; and We give back. The students saw their justice concerns expressed through the justice commission working and task groups.
